Teach Active Maths

This term, Eagles and Owls have been working together to solve maths problems using Teach Active Maths which is a great scheme that encourages the use of physical activity combined with maths learning.

The children have been taking part in an active maths lesson each week. They have been completing maths trails, finding the mean by measuring each other’s jumps and even taking part in maths duels which they have really enjoyed.

Science

In science lessons this half term, we have been focussing on the topic, Animals Including Humans. The photos show the children making their own blood! They used various items to represent platelets, plasma, red and white blood cells. As you can see, they all really enjoyed this task!
