Class Acts of Worship
At Holy Cross each child has the opportunity to be a Class Chaplain. Every week it is the resposibility of the 2 Chaplains to plan and then share the Class Act of Worship with all of the class. The children then evaluate how they feel the Act of worship went and then consider how they could improve on it.
The youngest children are supported by an adult when choosing the best scripture to accompany the theme of the Class Act of Worship. Our older students are encouraged to consider prior scripture they have heard, and which they consider to be special to them. We aspire to our our pupils knowing and linking scripture to prayer and worship and demonstrating that they live out the word of God through our 10 Gospel Values and Catholic Social Teaching principles.
Our KS2 Chplains visit Class Acts of Worship to support pupils with sharing the worship in a way that it is meaningful and uplifting to everyone.
Parents and Families have visited our class acts of worship this week.
