In Art this half term. We have been making sculptures, we used a range of different coloured card and paper to make 3D objects. We then worked together as a class to make a 3D spider sculpture. We got to use our painting skills and designed it together as a class. We had lots of fun!

In English this half term, we have been spending lots of time practising for our phonics assessment! We have been practising writing using split diagraphs and using all our phase 5 sounds. We put this into practise when writing stories, recounts, letters and reports!

In Geography this half term, we have been focusing on our topic of the countryside. We have been finding out new facts about the countryside and how we can look after and protect the countryside. We also have been finding out about the different animals that live on the farm and the farms they live in!

In Math's, we have been looking at halfing and quartering. We have been practising turning a quarter, a half and ¾ quarters. We have also been splitting different objects into quarters! The children really enjoyed these activities 😊
