Summer 2024

This half term we have done lots of fun things! In Art we have been learning about abstract sculptures. We have focused on what it means for something to be abstract and loved making our own sculptures out of recyclable materials and experimented with different joining techniques.  We also have been reading play scripts in literacy and wrote our own retelling of The Three Little Pigs. After, we worked in groups and performed our scenes to the class. We made props and spoke with expression! Finally, we have been enjoying the warmer weather and have loved gardening in our class allotment- we have each planted a fruit or vegetable and we are looking after them carefully to help them grow.
