Summer 2024

In Rabbits class it has been another busy half term.

During science our topic has been the ‘Human Body’ we looked at eggs and thought about how different drinks can affect the enamel (shell) we discussed the different ingredients in the drinks and what may happen to our teeth if we drink them and do not brush our teeth. We also created gases when our parents came into school!

In English, we have been looking at portal stories to begin with we empathised with the characters and completed some freeze frames for each part of the story thinking about facial expressions. The children then wrote some amazing stories including their own portals, characters and settings.

In art we have looked at light and dark, mixing colours, thinking about different painting techniques, then finishing the topic with sketching objects thinking about our shading skills.

We have been making the most of the sun shine completing role play activities, maths quizzes etc out on our lovely field.
