Science – Light

In our science topic, we have been learning all about Light. 
We have found out about how light travels, reflection, shadows and also the colour spectrum.
We really enjoyed taking part in many different investigations, using mirrors, torches, prisms and other equipement to discover more about this interesting science topic.   
 

Pearl Harbour

Today, we discovered all about the events of the Pearl Harbour attack on America (Hawaii) by Japan. We found out about the events leading up to this surprise attack and also the aftermath of it. We found out that over 2500 people were killed in this one attack. We also discussed how this meant that America then declared war on Japan and entered WW2 as allies with Britain. 
Our task was to create a news report documenting the events of Pearl Harbour, some of us were the reporters, some were eye witnesses and some played President Roosevelt!
